Responsible for our first rule set and early world building, I’ve had the privilege of watching Scy’kadia grow from a dozen people into the community of hundreds it is now. You’re bound to run into me at some point, whether at new player training or in Tavern Town. My background is an eclectic mix of acting, writing, directing, drama teaching, stage magic, plus a bunch of other creative stuff. Oh, and don’t believe those rumours about me being a dragon...

Hey, I’m Bertie! I’ve been LARPing for 6 years, and pretending to be various fantastical creatures my whole life. I’ve been lucky to experience many genres of LARP over the years, and I was previously a member of the team here as the Sentinel of Light. Outside of LARP, I’m an archaeologist, artist, and avid tea drinker. I’m excited to be returning as the new leader of The Circle, and I look forward to playing with you all!

Hello! I started my LARP journey playing Jugger, the purest essence of biffing. My first role playing experience was at a NSW/ACT LARPing weekender; this is also where I learnt about Scy'kadia, and got excited about moving to Sydney and joining up. I have a passion for learning and encouraging those around me to grow. I'm looking forward to being the leader of The Clan, and seeing what shenanigans we can all get up to together!

Hey everyone! A little about myself. When I was a kid, I had always dreamed of becoming a knight; to charge into battle with my friends at my side. Never did I think that when I grew up, I'd be able to make that dream a reality. I would love nothing more than to give you the best experience possible and further your story! Whether it's with me or against me (IC)! I have been a player at Scy'kadia for over 7 years now and look forward to 7 more. Diving into this hobby has changed my life, I have met amazing people and have made memories I'll never forget. During my time at Scy'kadia I have primarily played a villain named Galanath Duskbringer, so I am definitely looking forward to the change and challenge of becoming the new Sentinel of Light. Let's make a hero out of you.

Hello all! As someone who has been dreaming of swords and dragons since I could form words, discovering LARP and tagging along to my first game as a simple mercenary named Lethe was literally a dream come true. Five years on, and now I get to fulfill another dream by writing stories for the game that has played an incredible part in shaping the person I am today. The irony that as Lethe I spent those five years valiantly resisting the predations of the insidious Shadow Camp only for me to become its leader must surely be fate, right...?

With a rich history in LARP, Archer’s journey began over two decades ago, running World Of Darkness parlour-style games. He later became an integral part of the Scy’kadia team and has served on our “Admin” team multiple times (with a break here and there), significantly contributing to the growth and development of the world and lore of Scy’kadia, and our LARP community as a whole. Archer has generously donated his time to many aspects of our hobby, including as a general support person, and by volunteering his time and talent in the kitchen, cooking thematic feasts for our hungry adventurers. He is a pivotal figure in the broader LARP community, coordinating the attendance of the combined NSW and ACT LARP groups at medieval fairs and festivals, such as Winterfest.
