Participant Characters

Below is a list of some of the characters you might meet at our events, added by their respective players. You can use these entries as inspiration for your own character building, and to give you a sense of the personalities you might encounter in The Weft.

As mentioned on our home page, some entries may contain non-canon material. If you spot text that contradicts established lore, treat it as probably false or the ravings of a lunatic. Also be aware that this list is by no means complete, as many players prefer to have newcomers discover their character in-game.

Adding Your Character

Adding characters to the Participant Characters list is easy, and all players are welcome to do so - however newly created wiki accounts will have to wait a few days before they are able to edit this page. Please do NOT add characters that are yet to attend one of our live action games. See below for guidelines and help on updating the table.

1. Create a new wiki page for your character. Check out our Character Creation Tips for guidance on how to create an engaging character for both yourself and the rest of our players. You can also use our Character Bio Template to help get you started.
2. Edit this page (on phone, looks like pencil next to the page heading, on desktop website it is a button which has an image of a pencil with the word edit).
3. Find where your name would go in the table alphabetically and add a new row (click on the arrow on the left of the table and click "insert above" or "insert below").
4. Fill out the row with your character's info (Note: only include your character's base species in the table, not your sub-species - e.g. just "Shifter" instead of "Wolf Shifter"). As this is a public forum, do not include more than your first (real) name and last (real) initial.
5. Select your character's name and hyperlink it to your wiki page (click the chain links in the editor menu above and choose your page)

NOTE: Once you have added information about your character, it becomes public knowledge. To avoid metagaming, please restrict said information to only that which another character could reasonably overhear or discover. Let players learn your character's secrets during play.

Participant Characters

Characters who have not been active for a long period of time or do not have a wiki page for their character may be removed from the table - but not the wiki - to give an accurate representation of the denizens of Guardian Vale. If you decide to dust off an old character, feel free to re-add them to the table.
