Born to a Vylkish raider and a Arkhosian peasant, Taliesin grew up with his mother, father and his younger sister Thalia until he was thirteen. After a rough Bloodmoon his father and mother were killed by Shifter hunters of Arkhos. His grandmother was able to convince the hunters the children didn't share their fathers heritage and grew up in her care.
During his youth when Taliesin reached puberty his magic began to violently harness itself, being a Conduit. His magic forced those around him to tell the truth unwillingly.He was able to keep it hidden for a portion of his life but when revelled to be a Mage, Taliesin was forced to flee for Mureth or be killed by mage hunters.
